My #1 joy today is that I am blogging — on here!
As you know, I’ve been managing another blog for about a month and have in turn not had much time for my own. This doesn’t mean that I’ve been overlooking the joys in my life, but it does mean that I miss writing about them.
This quote, by Abraham Lincoln, is a real gem in my opinion and I hope it makes you stop and consider your personal outlook on others.
“If you look for the bad in people expecting to find it, you surely will.”
If you know me well, you know that I’m a total foodie. Checking out new restaurants is one of my most joyous pastimes, but being unemployed for this past year has definitely made this a challenge. Now, I tend to live vicariously through others, including my friend Lindsay Feinberg.
Lindsay writes a foodie blog called The Lunch Belle. She recently wrote the below review on a restaurant she took her sister to that I’ve been trying to try – Public. This may just be were I plan my “I got a new job” celebration dinner! Now that would be a serious joy.
